Basic Rack

The Basic Rack mount has been designed to host, power and connect via RS485 any expansion module manufactured by ANT Group.
To fit inside, to be powered and connected to the 485 bus, and to spare space, the expansion modules must be inserted and positioned in the dedicated Eurocard slots. In one Basic Rack 1 unit high there is space for up to 3 modules.
Modules are hot pluggable and unpluggable for the easiest installation and maintenance. The rack has 2 x 9 pin RS 485 BUS connectors on the back plane, to daisy chain additional expansion racks or other bus controlled equipment. The power supply for the modules is carried by the ANT RS485 bus.

The unit can be connected in daisy-chained mode.
