Precision RF power probe

Ethernet switch

Monitors the RF level on it’s input. A very wide dynamic range makes this probe usable for reception and transmission systems. Suitable for digital and analog signals.

FEATURES

The probe can handle analog as well as digitally modulated signals, the dynamic range is more than 50dB (±1db) and it’s bandwidth is extremely high. Using the fixed pads (3dB or 20dB) the dynamic range can be shifted, so that high power or low power can be detected.
There are 2 frequency range versions of this probe. One goes from 10MHz to 1GHz, the other extends from 900MHz to 2.5GHz.
Instant power can be read directly from the 7 segment displays on the panel as well as programmed in most of it’s functions using a button, and browsing into it’s menus. The dynamic range can be compressed in order to have a better reading, this is useful when used in reception. High precision reading is obtained using a 10bit A/D converter.
The probe can be used as a stand alone device thanks to an on board alarm feature that can be programmed via the front panel pushbutton: an open collector contact closure will trigger at a settable alarm point, and will reopen at a programmed threshold.
