Can act as an SNMP agent or NMS

• As an Agent: it performs translation from any known proprietary serial communication protocol (RS232 or RS485) on board site equipment, to the SNMP format. Will make data available as user programmable OIDs over ethernet
• As an NMS: Usefull in sites where no IP connection is possible. The unit scans a list of OID’s and maps readings inside the RDF where real time alarm monitoring is performed and sent to the control room with traditional phone lines, 2 way radio, gsm etc... as if they were read over the RS485 or the parallel I/O’s
