Front view of the Digital TV Monitoring Receivers

ANT Group Srl, a manufacturer of remote control and monitoring hardware and software, is offering a Digital TV Monitoring Receiver, which performs Quality Of Service measurements for digital TV systems for the  VHF III and UHF IV-V frequency bands. The RF analysis provides quality measurements for: BER pre/post Viterbi, MER, RF input level, Frequency and clock rate offsets, SFN delay. The max MER figure is 34dB +-0.5dB on the entire frequency span.

MPEG monitoring according to TR 101-290 priorities 1,2 and part of 3

Features include an alarm for each measurement without an auxiliary RDF: the alarm setpoints can be set individually. 4 relay outputs allow the combination of 2 or more alarms according to a scheme defined by the user and the access to theses 4 alarms is provided on dry contacts at the rear. On the front panel, 3 pre-defined alarms (RF, COFDM & MPEG) and 4 user defined alarms are displayed on 6 LEDS: the alarm status can be accessed through the serial link or thru IP. Full remote controlling is possible thru an Ethernet connection using HTTP, FTP or SNMP protocols or thru the ANTLAN® protocol over RS485 or RS232.
