Field Interface Modules
Plug-in expansion module (DAM/ANT104) that extends RDF capacity with additional analog and digital I/O.

Digital Input Module

Relay Output Module
Field of application
To expand the number of controlled parameters, RDF has a series of plug-in modules housed in dedicated rack units. The number of inputs and outputs can be expanded to handle an incredible amount of data: up to 256 analog inputs (8, 10, 12 or 16-bit resolution), up to 248 digital inputs, up to 256 relays (digital output), and analog outputs with resolution up to 32 x 10-bit.
Configuration and housing
They are configurable both locally and remotely, and programmable to generate alarms or run simple routines (macros). The I/O status can be read, both on-site and remotely, at any time. There are two versions of dedicated rack housings for the expansion modules: PW-RACK, equipped with an independent built-in power supply, and BS-RACK, which uses power distributed via RS485.
Module details
The DAM/ANT104 module adds 8 analog or digital inputs plus 4 relay outputs. On-board bridges allow any input to be switched from analog to digital. Each circuit has a built-in voltage converter to fully isolate the external connections. All inputs have a common ground, galvanically isolated from the RS485 interface BUS.
Technical specifications
Digital inputs positive closure range 3/16V, negative closure range -12/2V. Analog inputs with LPF @ 500 KHz, input impedance 22 kΩ, voltage range 0-5V.
