IO-HUB GPIO Probe
Ethernet GPIO hub for remote control and monitoring of electrical devices via SNMP.
Field of application
IO HUB is our new-generation GPIO Ethernet HUB module (GPIO “General Purpose Input/Output”) suitable for the control and monitoring of electrical devices over the Internet. It connects a set of 8 SPDT relays, 8 analog inputs and 8 opto-isolated digital inputs to Ethernet and makes them available via the SNMP protocol. It also provides a dedicated input for temperature probes, an RS485 interface and a built-in real-time clock. It can be accessed locally or remotely via a web browser for configuration.
Network parameters (IP address, gateway and mask) and other options (e.g. maintenance mode) can be set locally without the need for a PC.
Local testing and installation
Test operations are possible via the local user interface, as the current value of all inputs and outputs is shown on the display. Additionally, in maintenance mode, the status of each output relay can be manually forced. All electrical connections are made with plug-in connectors for easy installation and removal.
Inputs and outputs
8 analog inputs (0-50 Vdc in four selectable ranges, 12-bit resolution), 8 digital inputs (opto-isolated, activated by voltage 5-24 Vdc or dry contact), 8 relay outputs (SPDT, 1A/50Vdc), and 1 three-wire PT100 temperature input (-40/+80°C range, 2m silicone cable, stainless steel probe housing).
Connectivity and power
Ethernet/PoE via RJ45, with RS485 available for custom applications. Powered via PoE 802.3af (class 0), an optional 48Vdc/0.25A PoE injector, or 12Vdc/1A external power supply.
