MoREdge
Edge server for remote transmission site control, with real-time multi-protocol equipment management.
Field of application
MorEdge is the new unit for remote transmission site control. It enables on-site equipment management using SNMP and any other standard or proprietary protocol (e.g. GPIO, RS232, RS485, HTTP, FTP, Telnet, SOAP, REST, Corba, Modbus, MQTT, WMI and many more).
MorEdge is the site master: it interfaces with any equipment in real time so as to detect micro-outages.
Bandwidth and resilience
It also drastically reduces the required communication bandwidth, and also allows working with an unstable or absent connection by automatically storing all operational data of the controlled equipment and sending it to the Central Control as soon as communication is restored.
A user-friendly onboard dashboard allows easy on-site device management: technicians do not need to use any laptop or other PC to locally check the status of the site.
