Field of application

It is a very high performance RF level monitor. It can be compared to high-end lab instruments, but in a very small package at very competitive costs. The very high measurement accuracy and wide dynamic range make this probe the best choice for measurements on transmission systems both at the transmission and reception ends.

ANT131 is designed for precision measurement of analog and digitally modulated signals. The dynamic range is greater than 50 dB (± 1 dB) and its bandwidth is extremely high: using fixed pads (3dB or 20 dB) it is possible to shift the measurement range, so as to correctly detect both high and low power.

Display and programming

It is also possible to compress the measurement range for a better reading: this is very useful when used at the receiving end. Instant power can be read directly from the 7-segment displays on the front panel, and the unit can be programmed using a button on the front panel and browsing its menus. High-precision reading is achieved using a 10-bit A/D converter.

Alarm function

The probe can be used as a stand-alone alarm device thanks to a built-in alarm function that can be programmed via the front panel button: an open-collector contact closure will trigger at a settable alarm point and reopen at a programmable threshold.
