Field of application

RF-SNMP is the evolution of the ANT131 Precision RF Power Probe. It provides high-precision measurement of analog and digitally modulated RF signals, for use on both the transmission and reception side of broadcast networks.

The dynamic range is greater than 50 dB with very wide bandwidth. RF-SNMP does not require any external power connection: it is powered directly over the LAN cable via PoE, and all configuration and adjustments are performed via SNMP or a web page.

Inputs

Power range -40/+30 dBm. Digital or analog signals (waveform and modulation independent). Frequency range 50 MHz up to 4 GHz. Attenuator 0-31 dB in 0.5 dB steps (software selectable). Precision 1 dBm (50 MHz up to 2 GHz).

Connections

RF input: BNC male (50 MHz up to 1 GHz) or SMA male (1 up to 4 GHz, on request). Ethernet/PoE: RJ45.

Miscellaneous & Power Supply

Communication via SNMP protocol and HTTP. SNMP Trap alarms with programmable thresholds and polarity. Readings in dBm, W or kW (selectable). Setup through web page and SNMP, with remote software upgrade capability. Powered via PoE 802.3af (class 0), or via an optional 48 Vdc / 0.25 A power injector.
